- Abstract
The article discusses criminal sentencing guidelines in the U.S. as of May 2012, focusing on the relationship between legal experts and politicians in the development of fair and equitable sentencing guidelines, as well as information on the impact of race on sentencing guidelines. The American Bar Association's drafting of a Model Sentencing Act is also addressed.
