- Abstract
The article presents a study that assesses the antifungal activity of salaceyin A against colletotrichum orbiculare and phytophthora capsici. The research was conducted by evaluating antifungal compound activities of salicylic acid derivatives using in vitro bioassay and in vivo evaluation for its systemic protection ability and endogenous plant levels. It reveals that salicylic acid derivatives posses a strong in vitro antifungal activity against several plant pathogenic fungi which is an essential element in increasing pathogen infection resistance and changes fungal developments viability.
