- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the neurotoxic effects of the exposure to lead on the psychomotor and performance of printing press workers. The study uses the Block Design test which is a sub-test of Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) for the analysis and synthesis of hair sample collected from 80 subjects. Results show that the toxic effects exerted by lead in nervous system cause intellectual impairments and reduce the intellectual potential of affected persons.
