- Abstract
In present investigation, the effect of (SDS) Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate (detergent) on immunohaematological parameters is observed in Clarias batrachus that show significant effect on RBC, WBC, Hb%, MCV, MCH & MCHC%. There is remarkable change in level of RBC-86.909 mm³. WBC-118.264 mm³, Hb-124.960 g/dL, MCV-314.396 mm³, MCH-48.664 pg & MCHC-27.991%, respectively. The (SDS) detergent induce the increase in serum glucose 51.09%, 38% & 23.01% where as serum protein falls to 42.63%, 24.69% & 18.20% and hypercholesterolemia recorded in the present case is 47%, 26.15% and 19.10% significantly. The result show the detergent had detrimental effect on glucose, protein, cholesterol and immunohaematological parameters of Clarias batrachus.
