- Abstract
Timely and effective evaluation of teachers' teaching ability plays an important role in improving teachers' working motivation, professional level and promoting their career development. However, there are some problems in the traditional evaluation of teachers' teaching ability in terms of purpose, tools, models and methods. The application of artificial intelligence in the field of education has brought a new opportunity for the reconstruction of the evaluation paradigm of teachers' teaching ability. The evaluation paradigm of teachers' teaching ability driven by artificial intelligence will have great changes in the evaluation purpose, evaluation methods, evaluation tools and evaluation models, which will fundamentally promote the transformation of the evaluation of teachers' teaching ability from a single-dimensional one-sided evaluation to a comprehensive evaluation based on multi-dimensional and multi-modal data, from a closed fragmentary evaluation to an open continuous evaluation across time and space, from a large-scale rough evaluation to an accurate personalized evaluation of all staff, so that teachers can systematically and efficiently improve their teaching ability in the process of the open, continuous, situational, dynamic and accurate evaluation, and grow into innovative teachers who can actively use new technologies such as artificial intelligence to meet the demand of constructing high-quality education system in China.
