- Abstract
The article discusses several issues related to the extension of international commercial arbitration clauses to third parties as of April 2013, focusing on the impacts of federal policy protections on economic globalization. American contract and agency laws are addressed, along with the legal rights of non-signatories in regards to arbitration agreements. Privity of contract and a U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit case involving the American Arbitration Association are examined.
