- Abstract
The article focuses on legal issues related to Atlantic Yards Project which was launched on December 10, 2003 in Brooklyn, New York City. It also discusses how the lack of public accountability, procedural transparency and thorough governmental oversight has led to unsustainable framework for the development of the project. As stated, the issue which will affect the Atlantic Yards approval process most is the possibility of conflicts of interest with the law firm Allee, King, Rosen & Fleming.
