The article examines the extension of Williamson County's state procedures on the ripeness requirement to non-taking claims in Texas. It states that the requirements must be terminated because it is dysfunctional in practice and it is doctrinally bankrupt. It cites the misconception that Williamson County was pronounced as a go to state court rule for all claims related to property rights.
