- Abstract
The article discusses several issues related to the housing problems in the U.S. It reports on how the housing problem has become unavoidable in the modern industrial civilization. It analyzes implications of several factors, including population, slums, and vertical business expansion, that contributed to housing problems in the country. The article also discusses a constructive approach to city planning and residential real estate, and opportunities provided under the U.S. National Recovery Act for housing development.
