This should be developed by training and developing inner hearing theoretically, inherited from birth. One of the various techniques supporting this theoretical form, Dalcroze Eurhytmics approach model chosen for this study which emphasizes learning by living in music education, and adopts in principle by experiencing games and therefore mental and cognitive benefits are realized. Emile Jaques Dalcroze focuses on the student's active participation in education as well as on the role experience plays in musical perception which ultimately lead to a successful learning process. Pointing to the importance of sensitivity for rhythm and movement, EJD establishes his approach via Eurhythmics, ear training and improvisation. Dalcroze approach ensures the development of the perception of rhythm within the body through. Furthermore, they enable children to express themselves freely and support their creative thinking abilities. Another important benefit of these materials is that they help combat concentration problems in children, an issue which is widespread among pre-school children today. These and other similar games help support the children's development of psychomotor, socio-emotional, and cognitive skills, in line with the statutes for the pre-school education program published by the Ministry of Education in Turkey. The present study has adopted the US American School taught at the Dalcroze Institute of Juilliard Music School in New York, where a study group was observed in July 2008. Interviewing Dr. Daniel Cataneo who is an international clinician in Dalcroze Eurhythmics and its relationship to performance holding discussions with the participants of the study group and working with the study group brought about a clearer understanding of the basic principles of the Dalcroze method. In addition, the study group had dance classes everyday which prepared with Dalcroze Eurhythmic principles with Lori Belilove who is the Board of Director of Isadora Duncan Dance Foundation. The study group lasted approximately one month and to be completed successfully. After this study, musical game samples for children which will detail further in this article were created and by using the experimental technique, observations and interviews were made for this study. In order to obtain knowledge about music education for pre-school children, the "Pre-School Education Programme" prepared by the National Ministry for Education, Board for Pre-School Education was analyzed. It has been further observed that some courses, i.e. "Solfeggios", "Physical Expression", "Rhythmics" and "Applied Eurhythmics Education" offered at Mimar Sinan University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Composition and Orchestration were making use of the Dalcroze approach. Also a research about the application of the Dalcroze method in the international arena has shown that there are private as well as public Dalcroze Institutes which are educating students and teachers. This article comprises and an etymological analysis of the term Eurhythmics which Dalcroze coined in his work. It also provides detailed "a musical game sample" written in short music phrase with its own story. The three different study groups consisted of sixty-three children who were classified according to their ages, i.e. 36-48,48-60 and 60-72 months old at ITU Geliştirme Vakfı Okulları, Özel Dr. Sedat Üründül Kindergarten began in February 2011 and lasted 11 weeks. The results obtained from these field studies as well as suggestions for further studies are being presented.
