- Abstract
The article discusses research being done on the relation of visceral adiposity with serum retinol binding protein-4 (RBP4) levels in healthy women. It references a study by Ji-Won Lee et al published in the 2007 issue of "Obesity." Serum RBP4 levels are observed to independently associated with visceral fat and low density lipoprotein-cholesterol levels. It considered the possible effect of RBP4 on fatty acid metabolism.
