- Abstract
The article discusses the improvement of nursing practice and patient outcomes by U.S. healthcare legislation as of August 1, 2022. Topics covered include the two-fold policy changes for oncology nurses and other healthcare professionals, the historical effects of health policy, and the suggestion for oncology nurses to create healing relationships with and tailored approaches to patients. Also noted are current cancer and health policy legislation.
