The article discusses the British House of Lords' oral question debate held on January 21, 2019 where Lord Guy Black of Brentwood questioned the government about the review they conducted to assess the performance of pupils who are taking subjects that made up the English Baccalaureate (EBacc). Parliamentary Under Secretary of State Lord Agnew of Oulton has claimed that the EBacc curriculum was proven effective in increasing the probability that pupils will stay in full-time education.
