- Abstract
Though further trials with this treatment must be carried out, we propose that propranolol may be an alternative therapy option for refractory ALHE. Within 3 months of oral propranolol, the lesions decreased in size (Figure 1D) and no recurrence or obvious adverse effects were observed after one- year-treatment. After 8 weeks of treatment, retroauricular lesions disappeared (Figure 1B) along with significant regression of the other lesions.
