- Abstract
Treatment should be given in the presence of diffuse, symptomatic lesions with disfiguring configuration, and to prevent recurrences and scar formation.1 Topical steroids, Psoralen Plus Ultraviolet A (PUVA), and low-dose methotrexate (MTX) are the best documented and the most effective therapeutic approaches for LyP while there are limited number of LyP patients treated with interferon (IFN)- in the literature. C, The eyelid lesions resolved without scarring after 1 month of oral methotrexate (MTX) therapy.
