- Abstract
The article presents randomized, double-blind clinical trails for evaluation of topical eflornithine HCl cream efficacy in treatment of women with facial hair. The studies were conducted at 19 centers in USA and Spain and women of various problem criteria were included. The studies concluded that the cream is well tolerated. Application of cream for 24 weeks twice daily was seen to reduce unwanted hair growth. The combination of laser and the cream is reported to be more effective than laser.
