- Abstract
The article reports that edible oil processor Bidco is increasing its production capacity in Kenya. Bidco will increase capacity at a cost of $10 million ahead of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa's (COMESA) customs integration, which becomes effective in December 2008. COMESA aims to enhance trade across the borders of some of the world's poorest countries. Bidco's project will increase oil processing capacity by 400 tonnes per year. Bidco plans to list locally and internationally.
