- Abstract
This article discusses the role of autoantibodies in various neurological disorders. The authors provide an overview of diseases such as myasthenia gravis, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), Guillain–Barré syndrome, and autoimmune encephalopathies, among others. The article includes focused reviews on specific diseases, including MOG antibody-associated disease (MOGAD), Hashimoto's encephalopathy, autoimmune epilepsy, and autoimmune autonomic ganglionopathy. The authors discuss the diagnostic criteria, clinical characteristics, pathology, and treatment options for these disorders. This information will contribute to a better understanding of neurologic disorders caused by autoantibodies.
