- Abstract
This article discusses a case of a patient who presented with a bizarre electrocardiogram (ECG) showing bradycardia and severe conduction disorders. The differential diagnosis included sodium channel blockade, elevated intracranial pressure, or primary structural heart disease. Laboratory tests revealed hyponatremia, and further investigation revealed that the patient had ingested berries and leaves from a yew tree, which can have toxic effects on the heart. Despite the lack of an effective antidote, the patient recovered spontaneously and was discharged for further psychological support.
