The article identifies the main factors that affect health status in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development countries (OECD) using cross-sectional OECD data for the year 2002. One of the important determinants of health status is the degree of income inequality. Some control variables in the specified model that were not considered in previous studies were examined in the recent studies.
