- Abstract
Intravitreal anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) injections (IVT) are the standard of care for many posterior segment pathologies, and millions of injections are now performed each year. D), but more treated eyes than untreated eyes demonstrated TOsm >308 mOsm, and when the inter-eye difference was >8 mOsm/l, it was more common for the treated eye to have the greater TOsm (Fig. (F) Amongst those patients who had an inter-eye TOsm difference of >8 mOsm/l, there were more patients in whom the treated eye (grey bar) had the greater TOsm compared with the untreated eye (white bar, p = 0.06).
