Progress Has Been Made in Improving the Sexual And Reproductive Health of Young Ugandans.
- Abstract
The article discusses a study that evaluated the progress achieved in the improvement of reproductive and sexual health of the youth population in Uganda. Topics include multivariate analyses of changes in 2004 and 2012 data as to access of the youth to health services, knowledge and sexual risk behaviors. Conclusions indicated more younger men in 2013 who understand the benefits of undergoing tests for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and know sexually transmitted infection (STI) symptoms.
