- Abstract
The article presents information on the reform in the judicial system of the Supreme People's Court of China and the inter-relationship between China's Uniform Provisions of Evidence and Federal Rules of Evidence of the U.S. The adoption of common law code, free evaluation principle of civil law system and the influence of harmonious society and Confucianism in the application of Uniform Provisions are also discussed.
