- Abstract
The article reports on the restoration of the Golda Meir house in Denver, Colorado. Golda Meir was an international leader and diplomat whose family escaped from the religious persecution in Israel. As a child, she has demonstrated leadership skills by organizing a fund raising program for poor children. It is stated that the house was designated a Denver landmark in 1995. The house was restored through private contributions and a grant from the Colorado Historical Fund. The purpose of the restoration was to convert the house into a museum and conference center.
