- Abstract
An essay is presented on the comparison between Hesychast tradition of Eastern Christianity and Dzogchen tradition of Tibetan Buddhist. It offers an analysis on the work of Eastern Church's foremost theologian of Hesychasm Saint Gregory Palamas, the teachings of Gelug-pa Tibetan Buddhism and the universal basis for the religious intuition and experience of inner light.
