- Abstract
The article focuses on the experiences of Edmac Compressor Company, Inc. in implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. The author presents a profile of Edmac before ERP implementation. A definition of the needed software is presented. A discussion is presented about the importance of finding the best way to implement the system. Procedural information related to the establishment of realistic expectations is outlined. The author reports on the importance of involvement of users in software demonstration.
