- Abstract
The article discusses a study on a method to create macroscale plasmonic substrates for use in developing a reversible surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) optical sensor for monitoring carbon monoxide (CO) in the atmosphere. The preparation of nanostructured pyramidal arrays under this study is described. The study shows that strong plasmon coupling between gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) occurs following the formation of pyramidal supercrystals.
