- Abstract
The article offers information on the plan of United States Geological Survey (USGS) to pursue an aggressive plan to provide users with electronic access to any Landsat archive. It states that under a transition toward a National Land Imaging Program which is sponsored by the Secretary of the Interior the USGS is bent on pursuing this plan. It is also mentioned that by February 2009 any archive scene chosen by a user will be processed automatically to a standard product recipe, employing parameters such as the Universe Transverse Mercator projection.
