- Authors
Tisher, Elizabeth M.
- Abstract
The article discusses the relationship between historic preservation and affordable housing in America as of 2017, and it mentions inclusionary zoning policies and the claim that local historic districts prevent and obstruct affordable housing growth in the country. Historic preservation laws and policies in the U.S. are addressed, along with America's National Register of Historic Places and the housing needs of low-income families. The U.S. Height of Buildings Act of 1910 is assessed.
