- Abstract
The author reflects on the revival of the Scandinavian film industry after a long period of relative obscurity. He argues that the Danish cinema as well as the cinema industry in Sweden enjoy international acclaim and are very successful. An overview of Hollywood cinema's influence on several Swedish films such as "The Knight Templar" is also presented. The author's view on the future of the Swedish cinema industry is also provided.
