- Abstract
The article discusses the impact and integration of printers to the English literature in 15th century. It explains about the major issues related to the production, distribution and reception for adopting the new technology or maintaining a manuscript. It is mentioned that the confessional letters gave their holders the power to choose a confessor. It is further informed that these letters offered promises of remission which was imposed by God in Purgatory after death.
