- Abstract
The article analyzes the situation and features of Soviet cinema in the Soviet Ukraine in the first postwar decade 1945-1955 of years. We explaine it through the prism of party-state activities in the branch of cinema. Special attention is paid to the local features of the development of the cinema in the Soviet Ukraine, moreover, we consider the influence of Soviet ideology on institutionalization, financial and logistical basics of functioning of Ukrainian cinematographic art. The analysis of the processes is done in the context of political and socio–economic reforms in the Soviet Ukraine in 1945-1955. The study found that the development of the Ukrainian cinema in the mid-1940s - mid-1950s was taking place in the situation of active political influence of ideology as well as administrative and repressive apparatus on the socio– political and cultural life. Rebuilding which began after World War II was particularly in the field of film production, in the same time, it was a new wave of the general policy of building communism. The author traces some significant shortcomings, as like lack of independence from the center, the phenomenon of the dominance of ideology in the industry that allows us to suggest the existence of factors that hindered the development of national cinema.
