Title
ADMINISTRATIVE REMEDIES/LAND GIFTING.
Abstract
The article reports on the resolution of the legal case of the Miami Indian Tribe of Oklahoma vs. the United States. In the case, the tribe had sought a judicial review of the Bureau of Indian Affairs' denial of the tribe's request for gift conveyance. The U.S. District Court held that the tribe must exhaust all all administrative remedies before it can seek the review.
