- Abstract
The article discusses synthesis and intestinal glucosidase enzyme inhibiting activity of 2-Aminoresorcinol that is a potent and selective intestinal glucosidase inhibitor. It reports that mechanism of action of 2-Aminoresorcinol for inhibition of glucosidase enzyme is achieved through structural changes in amino acids and hydroxylation of two phenolic hydroxyl groups. It suggest design of a molecular probe for study of inhibition mechanism of 2-Aminoresorcinol.
