- Abstract
The article discusses the study on the therapeutic impact of ethanol extract from Cinnamomum cassia (CC) Blume on the activation of hepatic stellate cells (HSC). The authors experimented the effects of CC powder in Sprague-Dawley rats with acute liver injury induced by dimethylnitrosamine (DMN). Results has suggested that CC inhibits fibrogenesis, then HSC-T6 cell activation and increased recovery of liver function.
