- Abstract
The article presents a study on the molecular behavior of spindle components induced by microtubule-destabilizing and stabilizing agents using multicolor cell lines. The method employs live cell imaging via multi fluorescent human MDA-MB-435 cells for the analysis of the aberrant spindle formation during mitosis. Results show that microtubule targeting drugs stimulate microtubule formation activity that leads to perinuclear aster organization prior to mitosis, thus affecting cell proliferation.
