- Abstract
The authors discuss a study on serum tumour necrosis factor-alpha and interleukin-6 levels in Alzheimer's disease (AD) and mild cognitive impairment. Highlights include correlation between inflammatory markers and cognitive performance, proinflammatory cytokines that have been implied in neuroinflammation, and sleep as a factor related to proinflammatory biomarkers in AD.
