- Authors
Schimmel, Diana C.
- Abstract
The article discusses the case HSP Gaming L.P. v. City of Philadelphia wherein the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania ruled that the city was authorized to release a license for the construction on submerged lands under the Delaware River, in accordance with Act 321 of June 8, 1907. The court emphasized the lack of validity of a notice for revocation of such a construction license. It was noted that the desire for the growth of the casino gaming industry was reflected in the ruling of such case.
