- Abstract
The article offers information on the therapeutic applications of essential oils and hydrosols. The medical conditions where essential oils and hydrosols are beneficial include urinary tract infection, scleroderma and cervical dysplasia. The results of the studies on essential oils and hydrosols distilled from native Canadian plants such as Rhododendron groenlandicum, and Popula tremula are presented. The author also discusses the contraindications of essential oils and hydrosols.
