- Abstract
Investigates the effect of thermal annealing on the structural and the optical properties of zinc oxide (ZnO) thin films grown on specific substrates by using the radio-frequency magnetron sputtering method and by subsequently thermal treatment. Focus on physical evidence for the achievement of the high ferromagnetic Tc of ZnO films as a consequence of the large energy gap and effective mass of ZnO; Results of x-ray diffraction measurements performed to investigate the crystallization of the ZnO thin films; Findings of photoluminescence measurements carried out to investigate the optical properties of the ZnO thin film.
