- Abstract
The article presents information concerning the Peace and World Order Studies Major program of the Union College in Schenectady, New York. It is reported that the primary goal of the academic program is to provide an academic focus on two inter-related problem areas including the problems of world order and the problems of social conflict, violence, and conflict resolution. It is reported that the academic program is intended to teach the elements of systematic inquiry, emphasizing methods of description, data collection and analysis.
