- Abstract
This article discusses a case study of a 90-year-old man with congestive heart failure who underwent a noncontrast leadless pacemaker implantation (LPI) procedure using intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) by the trans-opposite femoral vein approach. The patient had poor renal function and was unable to tolerate the use of contrast medium. The procedure was successfully performed under ICE guidance without the use of contrast medium, and the patient was discharged without any complications. This approach may be a feasible and less invasive option for patients with severe renal dysfunction or contrast agent allergy.
