- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 47-year-old male patient who developed a small bowel obstruction caused by a bread clip. A computed tomography (CT) scan of the man's abdomen revealed a foreign object that was confirmed as bread clip in his small distal bowel. The patient underwent a laparotomy, providing additional evidence on bread clips causing intestinal obstruction, with an impassioned appeal for bread clip redesign.
