- Abstract
Literature and visual arts are useful tools for developing students' reading and visual comprehension when they create their own works. On this basis, there is a search and implementation of methodologies that trigger motivation and, therefore, develop the reading and visual abilities to express our own emotions. We set up a project using interdisciplinary methodologies for high-achieving students, which connects art, maths and literature. This research project proposes an interdisciplinary work for the Third Period of Primary Education using an illustrated album as the means to work on comprehension and emotions. As shown, students learn to read and code using the language of art, literature, and mathematics, and at the same time, it has served as languages to express their own emotions and, in particular, their apprehension.
