The article focuses on two cases in Mexico where copyright is analyzed from the perspective of the weighting of rights against equality and non-discrimination, on the consideration that only natural persons can be authors. It mentions subject is constrained in determining whether the article 12 of the Federal Copyright Law violates the principle of equality—non-discrimination, by virtue of making a distinction discrimination between natural and legal persons.
