- Abstract
In this paper, on the basis of the data collected in recent years, the geological and tectonic background and hydrogeological borehole data in Louzhuangzi-Shitizi area were used to compile a contour map of the water table and hydrochemical map of the Middle Jurassic; the characteristics and state of the hydrodynamic field of modern groundwater were analyzed; and the state of groundwater dynamics during the sedimentary formation period was investigated in close conjunction with the Middle Cenozoic stratigraphic and tectonic patterns in the study area. A preliminary analysis of the groundwater dynamics during the sedimentary formation period was carried out, and it was concluded that before the formation of the present-day structural pattern, the study area was a monoclinic structural zone with good groundwater recharge- runoff and discharge mechanisms, which was conducive to the enrichment of interstratified oxidation zones and uranium mineralization, while after the uplift of the northern back-slope zone, which formed a water-blocking structural zone, it was not conducive to their continued development and enrichment. Based on the sample test data and map compilation, it was found that sandstone in Louzhuangzi is not only permeable but also water-bearing. In the view of groundwater dynamics condition for uranium metallization, Louzhuangzhi area is predicted perspective for future uranium exploration.
