- Abstract
The article presents the author's insights on the written guidance for engineering project. The author says that written guidance has names and comes in many forms. He states that he have noticed the tendency for people and organizations to resist preparing, using, and improving the written guidance. He mentions the nine long term benefits to create, use and improve written guidance, which include elimination of valueless activities, train transferred personnel, and liability reduction.
