- Abstract
In the past, marketing as a practical scientific discipline dealt with finding and satisfying the customer's needs in a way that could satisfy the customer on one side and, on the other side, the organization reached the given level of profitability. However, the development of marketing caused that professionals and gradually also marketing managers operating in practice began to develop social critique of marketing which emphasizes that many marketing activities are detrimental to final customers, other organizations operating in the market, and also to the entire society.
