- Title
Sally Jacoby - A Reflection.
- Authors
Kunnan, Antony John
- Abstract
The author offers a reflection of the late Sally Jacoby, a teacher in applied linguistics. The author knew Jacoby from their days together as doctoral students in the applied linguistics program at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). Diverse interests and a dearth of publication venue for student ideas prompted the author and Jacoby to co-found the periodical. In 2003, the author requested Jacoby to be part of the "Language Assessment Quarterly" Editorial Advisory Board.
