- Title
EL VATICANO II ANTE NOSOTROS.
- Authors
BRUGUÈS, JEAN-LOUIS
- Abstract
It is said that being asked about the historical importance of the French Revolution, the Prime Minister of President Mao responded: "It is still too early to say". When it comes to assessing the impact of Vatican II, the possibility of expediting the trial over their consequences is presented. It is only possible to assess the impact of a long-term council. Many centuries required the Church to measure the depth of the reforms of the Council of Trent of the Council of Nicaea that gave birth to the present Creed that sustains our faith today. That which in the vicinity seemed determinant vanished in a few years, while distant generations harvested unexpected fruits of the events.
